Job Description

Department: Cardiac Surg Intermediate 4D Cardiac Surg Intermediate 4D: RN-Administrative Director-Nursing. Full time,days.No weekends 1. Assures the delivery of safe, quality and cost efficient care by competent staff members on designated unit(s). Insures efficient utilization of available resources and meets productivity and/or financial goals. Meets customer satisfaction goals. 2. Works collaboratively and effectively with other administrative personnel, physicians, and staff from other areas throughout the Health System to enhance communication, share pertinent data, and improve processes across the continuum. 3. Responsible for assigned unit(s) 24/7. Assures unit has appropriate managerial oversight on all shifts and is staffed to cover patient needs. Names an accountable and responsible designee in their absence for operations of the unit. The Administrative Director-Nursing is proactively involved in patient flow and bed management issues in collaboration with the Hospital Supervisor. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Job Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Completed or substantially completed Bachelor of Science degree. Master's in nursing or a related field required, or must be in process of completionFive to seven years experience in hospital setting. Previous management/leadership experience required.Must be currently professionally certified in area of responsibility or working toward. Apply Online
